Dr Helen Nott

Helen is professional company director in sectors progressing the health, wealth and care economies. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and she works with purposeful companies that are leading in customer-focused innovation, facing change and building resilience.

Helen currently serves on the boards of: Australian Unity Ltd and various subsidies including Australian Unity Health Limited; QBE’s Australia Pacific portfolio of Companies; and the New Zealand Accident Compensation Corporation. She is the Chair of the Board Audit Committee at QBE and at Australian Unity.

Helen was previously Vice-President of Paralympics Australia Ltd and a director of QBE Life (Australia) and of Healthdirect Australia.

In her executive career, Helen held senior strategy roles at IAG and QBE Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this Helen held corporate advisory roles with Booz Allen Hamilton, PwC and CSIRO.

She has a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) with Honours I from University of Queensland and a PhD in Engineering from Murdoch University.

Helen is a member of Chief Executive Women (Australia), a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Institute of Directors (NZ). She is mum to two teenage daughters.
